Organization and methodologies

Berger-Levrault

All our teams are organized into product teams with PM, PO, UI-UX, Tech Lead, Devs, QA and Scrum Master. They follow the Scrum methodology for agile project management, notably with the implementation of sprint reviews and sprint retros, and are supported by our agile coaches. Our centers of expertise support our teams in the fields of architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, performance testing, etc.

Projects and tech challenges

Berger-Levrault

We have several types of project:

  • Completely new platforms based on cloud-native architectures and tech stacks, with the aim of transforming the user experience in certain functional areas (Finance, HR, etc.). Example: AWS tech stack, serverless

  • Hybridization of existing platforms: adding or upgrading functional domains on new stacks, then iterating until the original platform is replaced. Example: microservicing of the “Finance” domain on both back-end and front-end on a new Java/Kubernetes and Angular stack.

  • Industrialization of research projects carried out by our innovation teams in order to integrate them into our architectures and products. Example: Generative AI to support our products, predictive maintenance AI.
