Within the Group, you will join the Group Investment Department within the DUNE team.

The DUNE team thrives on collaborating with diverse suppliers and clients to navigate complex investments, accounting norms, and stakeholder requirements. As we revolutionize the financial landscape, we face the exhilarating challenge of managing a vast array of diverse investments, evolving accounting norms, and meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders, all while upholding a robust process under various internal controls.

Your role:

  • Lead a dynamic team of actuarial developers and data scientists to provide reliable earnings forecasts for Group Investment professionals and stakeholders;
  • Spearhead the design and development of a cutting-edge deterministic forecasting tool using R/Python in a Spark environment;
  • Coordinate with local investment teams and contribute to the overall earnings forecast process within GIE.

Your daily missions: 

  • DUNE Technical Platform Expert and Manager
    • Define and develop innovative processes and platform designs based on users’ needs.
    • Lead the production of reliable, readable, version-controlled code, architecture, and interface.
    • Engage with accounting experts, financial analysts and IT experts and continuously enhance reporting ideas and views with controls.
    • Ensure Training on DUNE Extended Community.
  • Support for AXA Group teams and entities
    • Collaborate with various departments (Group and local business units), including Asset Liability Management Team, Investor Relations, and Accounting.

Preferred experience

Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced R/Python programming and Spark SQL skills;
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, Rshiny;
  • Experience with Azure and familiarity with SAS & SAS Risk Dimension;
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and valuation.

Diverse Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities;
  • Effective in high-pressure environments with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Skilled in team management and coordination;
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple organizations.

Experience:

  • 7 to 10 years' experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
