🌲 Your job as a Forest-Carbon risk Analyst

As a Forest-Carbon risk Analyst within our team we expect you to:

  1. Being the reference knowledge point on forestry science within AXA Climate but also externally
  2. Calculate risks associated to forestry management using all possible classes of data
  3. Having an innovation mindset will permit the ideation, testing and launch of new insurance products linked to sustainability or digitalisation of the business
  4. Keep learning about the development of technologies, markets and norms related to forest carbon

The position can be based in Paris or Zürich.

Preferred experience

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in forestry science
  • Qualification: PhD or engineering degree in the field of agronomy or environmental engineering
  • Remote sensing: Good knowledge of remote sensing applications to environmental risk management
  • Adanced knowledge of R or Python
  • Great customer understanding
  • Time Management skills: Rigor and capacity to plan and align with science team goals
  • Highly collaborative: Strong in networking with external experts and team work
  • Language skills: French or English + another language is prefered

Recruitment process
