The difference you’ll make

Your role will encompass all aspects of R&D and innovation financing, ranging from understanding our R&D efforts to implementing an R&D financing strategy. This puts you at the crossroads of Aqemia's departments and makes you key to the company's further development and success.

What you'll do

  • You'll collaborate closely with our Finance team and Aqemia staff on a day-to-day basis. 
  • You'll manage relationships with R&D actors, including advisors, clusters, etc.
  • You'll monitor and comprehend our R&D efforts and their evolution. 
  • You'll identify and assess R&D financing opportunities, as well as potential partners, on regional, national, and international levels. 
  • You'll respond to Calls for Proposals and prepare timely filings, including presentations, budgets, business plans, etc. 
  • You'll oversee project management, encompassing scientific/IP, legal, operational, and financial aspects. 
  • You'll handle the reporting of initiated projects.
  • You'll address ad-hoc analyses and evolving needs as they arise.
  • Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience, ideally with a track record within an R&D-intensive corporation, an EU/FR R&D financing advisory firm, or a state agency for innovation support and financing.
  • Master's degree in biology, bioinformatics, engineering, or a related field. 
  • Fluent in English and French. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated autonomy and ability to work well within a team. Committed to excellence with high professional and ethical standards.
