The main objective of the Target Ranking team is to identify the most relevant therapeutic targets for Aqemia’s drug discovery pipeline. The team serves as the entry point for targets, which are then continuously monitored to ensure only the best assets for Aqemia are worked on.

Our Target Ranking team:

- Designs, develops and runs target assessment workflows

- Extracts novel insights, encompassing chemistry and biology complexity, to guide the selection of targets for drug discovery pipelines

- Models this extensive and intricate knowledge in innovative ways

- Manages a portfolio of promising targets for Aqemia’s drug discovery pipeline

The Target Ranking team leverages multiple expertises to deliver on this exciting goal (inc. data engineering, data science, biology, chemistry…).

We are looking for a data scientist to join the Target Ranking team, whose role will be to work on the development, implementation and maintenance of a target identification framework. By doing so, you will play a crucial part in shaping Aqemia's portfolio of drug discovery targets!
