Job description

POSITION

As a Data Analyst at Yubo you will help us shape a better community thanks to your ability to structure and transform large and complex data sets into meaningful insight.
You will report to the Lead Data Analysts in the Paris team and will work directly with the product, technical and marketing teams in order to improve our app through data and analysis.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide on-going reporting and performance monitoring from multiple data source.
• Work closely with the app’s stakeholders to further understand, model, predict, segment and monetize our users.
• Have a deep understanding of large data, our data structures and how to manipulate our data in an efficient manner.
• Proactively developing new analyses and insights to drive decisions and strategies for user acquisition, retention, monetization.
• Translate analytical and reporting requirements into SQL queries, data flows and new solutions or features in the data warehouse.
• Help script, maintain and create automated processes for pulling and reporting data.
• Debug and problem solve issues to ensure delivery of accurate metrics.


Preferred experience

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong SQL experience, comfortable using Python for data analysis and BI tools (knowledge of Amplitude is a +).
• Knowledge of BigQuery or Redshift.
• Good analytical skills and knowledge of the main KPIs of the mobile application business model.
• Significant experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably in the mobile app industry.
• Background in statistics, BI, economics, engineering, data mining or other technical field required.
• Possess the ability to explain problems and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work with deadlines.
• Fluency in English

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Graduated from a top Engineer/Business school or equivalent
• > 2 years of experience
