The position

Job description

The role of the legal department is to be a guide for other yousigners by creating a sustainable and understandable legal framework for product teams to build products “compliant by design” and revenue teams to provide services in which our clients trust.

You will play a transversal role within the legal department by supporting “Business & Marketing lawyers” but also “Product counsels” and by helping them build a secure legal framework.


The internship opportunity is for 6 months starting in January 2024 in our Paris office.


Your missions: 

- Take part in legal projects, preparing briefing notes on the laws and regulations applicable to certain issues and creating structured risk analyses.
- Participate in the negotiation of customers’ or suppliers’ contracts.
- Help the legal director monitor Yousign’s GDPR action plan progress.
- Support the legal director in building the foundations of our new legal department.
- Monitor laws, regulations and case law in the technology, digital and SaaS sectors that are applicable in France, Germany and Italy (with assistance of local law firms) and elaborate notes on said regulations and laws.
- Assist in drafting playbooks, policies, procedures and internal training material.

 

Your Profile:

- You have graduated with a French Master in business Law.
- You have knowledge of European privacy laws and contract laws.
- You love working at the crossroads of the law and new technology.
- You are fluent in French and English as a professional business language. (German or Italian are a plus as we are growing internationally).
- You have a spirit of analysis and synthesis but also know how to be creative.
- You are ready to work in an innovative European company and like working in a fast-paced environment.
