What we need…

Yoobic are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team in London, who will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function from end to end, ensuring our suppliers are paid in a timely and accurate manner and maintaining an accurate A/P ledger. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small finance team of 4, reporting directly to the Finance Director.

What you'll do…

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable function from end-to-end
  • Posting Invoices and expenses
  • Daily upload and coding of bank transactions across multiple banks and regions
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable to the General Ledger and maintain accuracy of the Accounts Payable Ledger
  • Management of employee expense process and timely payment (we use Expensify)
  • Managing supplier queries and invoice discrepancies
  • Prepare bi-monthly payment runs and manual payments for review by Financial Controller
  • Support cash planning through prompt payment runs and timely payment allocations
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with Bank reconciliation, Month End reporting and year-end audits

What you have...

  • Experience in Accounts Payable/Finance in a corporate environment
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication, oral and written, and customer service skills required in liaising with suppliers
  • You can strike a perfect balance of being self-directed, hands-on and able to work with minimal supervision, whilst also being collaborative and team oriented
  • Superb attention to detail and time management 
  • Process driven and forward thinking
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of general ledger principle
  • Experience in using Xero is advantageous but not essential
  • You will be required to be in the office 3 days a week
