Antoine is President and CEO of Ÿnsect. He is also President of the European Insect Farmers' Union (IPIFF) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Consortium of Proteins France and of LFD. Graduating from AgroCampus-Ouest and AgroParisTech, he is an Agricultural Engineer by trade. Before co-founding Ÿnsect, Antoine worked on scientific projects dealing with environmental risk assessment, as well as recycliing and recovery of biomass and plastics. In partnership with Alexis Angot, he also co-founded the association WORGAMIC and the company ORGANEO.

After obtaining a BTS in Electrical Engineering, Yann worked for two years as an Automation and Electrical Engineering Design Office Manager before setting up his own company, Asco Systems. In 2016, he joined Synerlink where he worked in various positions before joining Ÿnsect in 2020. For the past nine months, Yann has been working as a Senior Automation Engineer, overseeing the standardization of various programs.

Jean-Gabriel is an engineer from Ecole Polytechnique and also a graduate of HEC Paris. Since 2019, he has headed up Ÿnsect’s department of Impact. Before co-founding Ÿnsect, Jean-Gabriel was a consultant in industrial projects at Schlumberger.

Before joining Ÿnsect, Thomas had an eclectic career. An insect enthusiast holding a PhD, he had a series of professional experiences as a professor and Research Assistant in insect biology. Joining Ÿnsect in 2014 as an R&D researcher, two years later, he progressed to the position of R&D Manager on insect health and nutrition topics. Today, Thomas is R&D Manager in insect husbandry.

Sophie is Assistant HR manager at Ÿnsect. After a degree in Economics and Management, she completed a Master 1 in Human Resources Management at the IAE Franche-Comté. She then completed her Master 2 in Human Resources Management at the EM in Strasbourg. After a year in the Human Resources department at Leroy Merlin, she joined Ÿnsect in 2018 at the Dole site.

Pedro graduated with a Master's degree in Biodiversity from the University of Alicante in Spain, and has been working since 2012 on insect-related topics, which he has always been passionate about. After two years as a Breeding Technician at Bioflytech, he joined Ÿnsect as a Breeding Technician. In less than a year, he progressed to the position of Head of Rearing Techniques at the R&D site.

Clément joined Ÿnsect six months ago as a Project Manager. A graduate in Engineering, he first worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Diadeis and then as a Consultant for almost two years at Cubik Partners. He then co-founded OpenLab in 2014 before joining Zodiac Aerospace in 2016 where he held various positions. Clément joined Ÿnsect out of a desire to help respond to the climate and food issues of our time.

After graduating from the University of Burgundy in organism and population biology, Manon worked for several years on Tenebrio Molitor farms. After two years at the CNRS, she worked for a year as an Entomologist Technician for Entomo Farm. She joined Ÿnsect in 2019 as a Technician in breeding processes on a temporary contract. Less than a year later, she was promoted to the position of Continuous Improvement Officer. Today, Manon is a Continuous Improvement Manager.

Ikram holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing from the IAE of Dijon. She first worked for six years as a Financial Auditor for PwC, and then as a Management Controller for Socla. Ikram then joined Ÿnsect as an Industrial Management Controller at the Dole site. After 6 months, she moved into the position of Corporate Controller, a cross-functional role with multiple missions.

Hi, I'm Hong. I have been working at Ynsect since the very beginning of the company. My job is to be an expert in insect production. I am currently in charge of the operability of breeding at Ynfarm, our vertical insect farm, the largest in the world which will start its production in 2022 near Amiens, in the north of France. Having worked in several structures, whether private, public or local, I chose to join Ynsect for two main reasons. The first is the boldness of the co-founders, to create something that didn't exist, which resonated with what I was looking for. It was a great new mission. The second reason was the value of constructing something from A to Z and therefore, the absolute absence of boredom. Precisely because of the diversity of the tasks at Ynsect, you don't necessarily have to be passionate about insects to join us. After 20 years of working with about 20 insect species and after all these years at Ynsect, what still fascinates me every day are two main things. The first is interacting with various teams to find concrete solutions for our business. That's something I'm really passionate about. The second is tangible developing new skills on a daily basis and passing on my expertise to new teams with great enthusiasm. This enthusiasm is part of the decisive sentiment that makes me stay and convinces me every day to stay in this company. The added value at Ynsect, I would say, is twofold: the first our passion, which is very important for this very attractive company that creates so many jobs and trains new people. The second is respect. Personally, I have a lot of respect for my colleagues, and in return, have always felt listened to and respected.
