About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Cloud Operations squad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with a focus on cloud operations and infrastructure management. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers responsible for the operation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.

About your role as Engineering Manager:

  • Lead and manage a team of cloud operations engineers
  • Develop and implement strategies and processes for the operation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure
  • Work with development teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of our cloud infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and provide guidance and recommendations to the organization
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure that all cloud infrastructure is secure
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud operations processes and procedures
  • Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for team members

    • About your experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on cloud operations and infrastructure management
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing a team of engineers
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and best practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform or other
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant cloud certifications are a plus
