The position

Job description

As International Expansion Manager, you will be responsible for delivering our international expansion plan. You will be central to help Welcome to the Jungle become a European player. You will directly report to the COO.
As our International Growth manager, you will be a key transversal stakeholder on our international expansion by contributing to build the strategic roadmap and by being the main contact point for execution.

You will do:

  • Prepare all our country launches: analyse the market, build the roadmap, recruit and onboard the core initial team; you will also take the lead on all transversal topics (legal, product, …) in collaboration with HQ teams
  • Coordinate local operations and be a trusted partner to deliver their roadmap according to WTTJ standards; sync and collaborate with the HQ teams
  • Be the local entities advocate in the HQ: you will make sure that their needs are taken into account at HQ levels (notably coordinating with the HQ product team)
  • Build the framework of our international operations: reporting tools, playbook, governance, …
  • Be the keeper of WTTJ culture locally

If you ‘re interested on international topics you shouldn’t be reluctant to travel. This position implies to travel 30% of your time. Don’t worry we will travel most of the time with you!


Preferred experience

What we are looking for:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a scale-up company and /or as a strategy consultant
  • Previous experience on expansion topics or in an international environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Total fluency in English
