The position

Job description

We are looking for a junior full-stack developer to join our growing team. As part of the Tech team, you will be tasked with developing new features to turn Wooclap/Wooflash into landmarks of Europe’s higher education landscape. You will drive our growth and have a positive impact on teachers and students who use Wooclap/Wooflash every day.

Here’s an example of what you’ll do once you join us:

  • Research, suggest and implement new features in Wooclap/Wooflash to improve the experience of teachers and students across the world;
  • Discover and use modern web development tooling (webpack, Docker, prettier, eslint, post-css, …);
  • Build reusable React components using modular CSS;
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to create beautiful interfaces;
  • Collaborate with other developers and review their code;
  • Ship your code to production to hundreds of thousands of users using Amazon Web Services (AWS);
  • Create performant and resilient backend services in nodejs;
  • Develop custom internal tools to improve code quality, productivity, …;
  • Experiment: as a startup, we expect our teammates to be passionate about their work and suggest new ideas to help us move forward.
