The position

Job description

As the Head of Marketing at Wooclap, you will work closely with the COO to define Wooclap’s global marketing strategy. You will then be in charge of executing this strategy and will coordinate the efforts of the Growth, Communication&Brand, Demand Generation/Field Marketing and Content teams. You will put our prospective and current customers at the heart of your day-to-day work and bring Wooclap’s values to life.

You will focus on our B2B demand generation strategy and will have a key role in leading and strengthening our new Growth B2C team aiming at growing our online revenue. You will work on building the marketing function for our new platform Wooflash and ensure consistency between Wooclap and Wooflash. Eventually, you will help us shape Wooclap’ European expansion in Spain, Italy, Germany and the UK.

We’re looking for someone with a blend of strategy, technical, creative, analytic and project management expertise and a passion for education.

In this exciting position, you will work on various projects. Responsibilities will include:

DEMAND GENERATION TACTICS AND REVENUE

  • Define and oversee our B2B marketing demand generation strategy (Inbound, Outbound, Marketing Automation, Field, etc…) in order to generate new business opportunities
  • Build and support our B2C Growth Strategy to grow our online subscriptions revenue

BRAND&CONTENT

  • Ensure the consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look-and-feel of all internal and external communications and marketing materials, both for Wooclap and Wooflash
  • Define a strategy to help Wooclap become a thought leader in the Higher Education space through content and partnerships

REPORTING&COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE

  • Perform regular industry and competitive analysis to help positioning and messaging
  • Perform ongoing tracking and reporting on B2B and B2C marketing initiatives

MANAGEMENT

  • Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing global marketing team that delivers against marketing goals.
  • Support and develop team by providing performance reviews, continual feedback, mentoring and career growth for direct report

Preferred experience

  • 6+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS Marketing with progressive leadership and management responsibilities (work experience in a mix of B2B and B2C environments is a plus)
  • Full stack marketing understanding, majors in either growth marketing or demand generation would give you a huge edge**
  • Proven track record managing marketing pipeline generation, including managing campaigns from concept to ROI analysis
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and tracking tools
  • High performer in both team and autonomous environment . You’re a team player at heart
  • Entrepreneurial-minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and deadlines. You thrive to get things done, with a strong attention to detail
  • Superior storytelling and communications skills (impeccable spelling, copy-writing, editing, presentations, etc…)
  • Working knowledge of the EdTech industry is a strong plus
