Job description

On behalf of one of our clients, a leading fashion brand, we are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the WITH team to support. The role involves spearheading the brand’s social media initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Social and Digital Director.

The scope of this position includes:

Drive and Support Social Media Project Implementation:

  • Assist in devising and executing the social media strategy for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with local objectives.

  • Spearhead the development and enhancement of the brand’s WeChat mniprogram with fresh and innovative concepts.

  • Coordinate planning meetings with local digital and merchandise teams, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.

  • Oversee the coordination with the image team and monitor the creation of local content.

  • Prepare weekly social media communication plans for top management and the artistic director across their dedicated platforms.

Lead and Support Global Local Communication & Alignment on Social Media Projects:

  • Facilitate seamless coordination between headquarters and local Chinese and Japanese social media teams, supporting comprehensive operational efforts.

  • Contribute creative and distinctive ideas to social media and 360-degree activation plans, product offerings, and content specific to the APAC region.

Consolidate and Manage APAC Social Media Business:

  • Enhance the brand presence on Chinese and APAC social media platforms such as WeChat, Weibo, RED, TMall, LINE TW, LINE TH, and LINE JP.

  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strategic market opportunities to enhance the brand’s visibility.

  • Monitor and analyze data to drive strategic improvements based on performance metrics.

  • Gather and consolidate best practices from global and local teams.

  • Establish a global and APAC expert community, and implement internal communication tools for sharing excellence and upskilling such as reporting, newsletters, and webinars.

Preferred experience

  • Great understanding of Asian social platforms is required.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar social media role within the fashion/luxury or creative/entertainment industries for APAC market.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, social media listening and publishing tools, and industry background in fashion, luxury, entertainment, music, or technology.

  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to proposing and implementing innovative ideas.
