The position

Job description

Within the APAC team and in liaison with the local distributor, you will be in charge of animating the presence of the brand in the Chinese Market.

The brand would be relaunched in China starting from 2023 with a new local distributor. To catch up with the Chinese market standards & accelerate the implementation of the brand presence on full ecosystem, the client needs a Project Manager to handle the process and connect with the distributor to support them on the level of the operational expertise through commercial, branding, social, e-commerce, influence & media strategies.

In this position, the WITH implant will help the brand into different roles as detailed below:

E-commerce Content strategy & animation

1. Aligning the acceleration of the brand’s relaunch in China between the different stakeholders - global team & local distributor - to co-crafted with local distributor for an opening strategy blending Tmall drivers, offline events, celebrity & influencer strategy, and media investment.

2. Support the distributor in building a brand relevant & impactful plan on E-commerce platforms to be presented to the Tmall Global Management team for launch and animation during the whole year - across marketing drivers to leverage, storytelling angles, key moments to animate with relevant products, ways to engage & retain customers.

3. Validate the e-merchandising strategy with local team & TP and coordinate the production accordingly

4. Follow the creative process with the brand team to deliver the relevant assets to animate the brand flagship store. Facilitate the understanding of the platforms needs, provide benchmarks, do’s and don’ts to ease the asset conceptions.

5. Provide guidelines for localization & control the customer experience (brand page, product pages, …) and interactions on the platforms (pushed through brandzone animation and pull through before & after sales) handled by TP.

6. Provide guidance on the marketing investments on the platforms, validate touchpoint ventilation and monitor the performance to propose quick adjustments if needed. Monitor the execution of such investments to ensure the best reach.

7. Analyze thoroughly the data of the e-commerce operations and provide recommendations around investments, festivals to tackle, content directions, merchandising opportunities…

Social Media & Influence Marketing strategy and coordination

1. Work with the Global & Local team to infuse the Tmall needs into the marketing strategy and calendar for the Chinese market.

2. Work with the Global & Local team to craft relevant influencer program to create brand preference across Chinese platforms - with strong personality influencers, matching the brand DNA - with different pools:

_ local ambassador to build local relevancy & tap into fan economy

_ beauty expert KOLs to reinforce credibility and ensure authority in category

_ KOCs and consumer reviews to infuse with more peer recommendations

Preferred experience

_ Past experience working with pharma brands is required

_ +4 years of experience in digital marketing in China / managing China-related projects

_ Have a strong understanding of Alibaba marketing ecosystem, both in/out site. And know well about the trendy Alibaba marketing approaches, like live time streaming, seeding, fans operation, etc. And have a successful case to demonstrate the experience.

_ Experienced in online especially related beauty brands or agency working experience is preferred.

_ Experienced on 360° initiatives including digital, social, influence, E-commerce/E-retail

_ Solid project management skills and sense of urgency to prioritize and orchestrate tasks and deliver on time while ensuring the highest quality standards

_ Strong attention to details and technicalities, excellence-driven

_ Excellent soft skills to manage trilateral relationships, drive all cross functional teams at the same pace to deliver business results.

_ Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently with senior-level leaders

_ Ability to balance between a robust analytical capability and an interest in the creative process

_ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
