In delivering embedded projects for our customers, we are increasingly connecting devices both to cloud and mobile platforms. As the engineer to secure this role, you will have the opportunity to become the lead on these aspects for the UK team – this is a varied role that requires a highly motivated individual with a diverse array of technical skills (see below) and excellent communication skills. For the right candidate training and mentoring will be available to enable them to step up into the role.

Your manager will be Steve Sharkey, but you will also work closely with our project managers. Very little travel will be involved, as we do the entire development from our office. You will work in an agile team of developers across a variety of different projects.

Skillset and technical environment:

• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• In depth knowledge of frameworks such as NodeJS, React, Angular, Ionic.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
• Native Android &/or IOS development
• Experience in an embedded environment (nice to have)
• Familiarity with Atlassian toolset (nice to have)

Your Responsibilities:

• Being our expert for web & mobile, you will work across a varied selection of projects, participating from inception through to delivery.
• Participate as part of our pre-sales team to clarify, validate and estimate work against our customers’ requirements.
• Take part in Agile development practices on projects.
• Guarantee the whole quality of our project (code reviews, unit tests, etc)
