Wheere is developing a groundbreaking geolocation technology that works both indoors and outdoors where GPS fails.
Our goal: to become the global reference in precise positioning, powered by a dedicated ASIC chip, international deployments, and a future satellite constellation.
What we’re looking for:
An engineer or PhD in applied mathematics, signal processing, or machine learning. You will work at the core of our technology, in direct collaboration with the RF, firmware, and hardware teams.
Bonus points for experience in PNT or radar algorithms, and for being familiar with neural network-based methods to solve inverse problems.
Your missions:
Design and improve time-of-flight measurement algorithms (non-uniform spectral analysis)
Design and improve positioning and navigation algorithms (dynamic filtering, Bayesian filtering, Kalman filters)
Precise time tracking and clock correction: Doppler effect estimation
Prototype using Matlab or Python
Optimize resource allocation to make the developed algorithms compatible with embedded CPU constraints
Participate in field testing + documentation + version control via Git
Management opportunities ?
If you have the profile and the desire to manage then you can lead the algorithm team. But it’s not a requirement: we’re first and foremost looking for someone technically strong and passionate.
Master’s degree from a top engineering school or PhD in applied mathematics
Experience or strong interest in algorithms / modeling / signal processing
Proficiency in Python or Matlab
Experimental methodology, rigorous and collaborative mindset
Curiosity, startup spirit, and a taste for technological challenges
