Job description

Hi there! 👋

🐼 About us

WeWard is the app that rewards you for walking and turns everyday steps into real-life rewards, connections, & positive impact!

Our mission is to help people move more, feel better, and make movement meaningful.

Today, we are trusted by 25M+ users worldwide, with a fast-growing, international team and offices in Paris and New York.

Our ambition is to build the world’s leading movement-and-rewards platform, scaling globally while using technology, data, and smart incentives to drive lasting behavior change and wellbeing at scale.

🎯 About the role

To support our hyper-growth, we’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take the full lead on Analytics at WeWard. You will have the keys to shape our analytics stack, scale our experimentation framework, and own our company-wide KPIs.

This is not just a reporting role — you will be the architect of how WeWard measures, understands and improves its product and business performance. You’ll decide on tools, define methodologies, challenge what exists today, and make analytics a true growth engine for the company.

Your work will empower every team — Product, Growth, Finance, Ops — and your insights will directly influence millions of users across 30+ countries.

Your impact/responsabilities

As a Senior Data Analyst at WeWard, you will:

  • Analytics & Data Governance

    • Take full ownership of Amplitude: taxonomy, governance, training, QA.

    • Lead the evolution of our analytics tools: keep Amplitude, challenge it, or complement it — you decide.

    • Be the go-to person for analytics in the company, ensuring clarity and trust in every metric.

  • Experimentation Leadership

    • Build the playbook for A/B testing at scale, from design to analysis to rollout.

    • Own Amplitude Experiment and define how WeWard runs and reads tests across Product and Growth.

    • Guarantee that every test leads to reliable, actionable and fast insights.

  • Business Intelligence & KPIs

    • Be the owner of our company-wide metrics: retention, ARPU, LTV, revenue tracking.

    • Challenge and elevate our BI stack (Metabase today — but you decide what tomorrow looks like).

    • Build trusted dashboards that become the single source of truth for every team.

  • Product & Business Analysis

    • Drive high-impact analyses to guide product strategy (onboarding, monetization, international growth).

    • Translate complex data into clear narratives and strategic recommendations.

    • Be the analytical voice in strategic discussions, influencing roadmaps and priorities.

Our commitments

  • 🏆 SUCCEED — You’ll join a team of passionate people who share values of ambition and determination

  • 🤝 TRUST — We give you real autonomy, trusting you to reach your goals in your own way

  • ⛏️ EXPLORE — You’ll grow in a culture that’s constantly evolving and curious about what’s next

  • 📈 PROGRESS — We’ll support you through challenges, learn from mistakes, and move forward together

  • 😁 SMILE — And every day, you’ll be part of a fun and positive environment where humor is always welcome

Preferred experience

🧠 What we’re looking for

You’re the perfect match if you have…

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role, ideally within a high-scale B2C / mobile app environment.

  • Expertise in Amplitude: you have already implemented, structured, and managed governance of the tool (events, taxonomy, dashboards, trainings).

  • Strong experience with BI & visualization tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or equivalents): you know how to both build and challenge a BI stack.

  • Experimentation expertise: A/B testing, causal inference, applied statistics. You have run experiments end-to-end and can ensure reliability and fast reads.

  • Advanced SQL skills and solid foundations in Python for ad-hoc analysis.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions (Product, Growth, Engineering, Finance).

  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking: you turn data into clear, actionable decisions.

  • Strong communication skills: able to simplify complexity, influence decisions, and spread a data-driven culture.

If this sounds like you, apply — we’d love to meet you. 🎉

🎁 What we offer

  • ✈️ A global, mission-driven team with teammates in Paris, NY, London, Boston!

  • 🧘‍♀️ A healthy work/life balance (we walk the talk)

  • 💡 Annual learning & dev budget (you grow, we grow)

  • 🏠 Hybrid work, with 2 days of remote work per week

  • 🏢 (Really, really) Cool office in central Paris with snacks, a walking desk and a huge Wardy hanging around

Recruitment process

  1. 45-min call with Tanguy, co-founder and your future manager. Here you’ll go in detail about the role’s missions.

  2. A case study followed by a 1 hour debrief in our office with the people from the Data team, including time for mutual feedback.

  3. Office tour to meet other team members.

And if it’s a match… Welcome to the adventure!
