Jan has been living in Brno since 2015, and he studied computer science at Masaryk University. Internet of things is his hobby, and he likes to improve his home with new sensors and develops applications that connect everything together. He has a pet snake. He would like to get a pet cheetah, but his apartment is sadly not big enough. His hobbies include running, scootering, and hiking. Recently, he started bouldering, and he hopes to conquer some rocks in the mountains soon.
Jan is from Brno. He studied at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. He started programming in elementary school and has been around computers since then. The backend grew on him since he never was a graphic designer. Besides programming, he is interested in distributed (cluster) services, high application availability, and processing of a large number of requests. In addition to his work, he spends time with his children or in the garden. Jan likes hiking in the mountains or wildwater canoeing. And he loves a good beer.
Richard has been in the company for more than three years and, among other things, takes care of the deployment tools and payment methods. He started working at Webnode during his studies at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. In his free time, he likes to go swimming or bouldering and, for two weeks during the summer holiday, he helps out at a scout camp. He previously worked as a JS/PHP programmer, and he continues to do so. He's got a great collection of rubber ducks. :)
