As a Senior Account Manager, your mission is to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring strong and profitable long-term relationships with our distribution partners. You’ll act as the central point of contact for internal coordination, commercial performance, and partner satisfaction.
You will:
Manage a portfolio of strategic partners (brokers, MGAs, insurtechs, fintechs, retailers, and marketplaces)
Ensure operational coordination with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Pricing, Delivery, Compliance, Legal)
Be a key user of Wakam’s internal tools (MyWakam, CRM, AI agents)
Identify and develop upselling, cross-selling, and product extension opportunities
Monitor account profitability and technical performance, working closely with Finance and Underwriting
Represent Wakam in client meetings, steering committees, and industry events
A Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Business, Insurance, or related field
8+ years of experience in Account Management or Business Development within the insurance sector
Excellent commercial acumen and ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects
Proven experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration
Advanced use of CRM and digital tools, with a data-driven mindset
Mandatory fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
A strategic and analytical thinker with a commercial mindset
Customer-oriented with a natural ability to build trust
Autonomous, structured, and proactive
