Project Development Manager H/F - Philadelphie

Overview:

The Project Development Manager is a key contributor to the success of the company in the USA. He/She leads the identification and development of new landfill gas to RNG projects as well as support existing projects.

This position reports to the Business Development and Commercial Vice President.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of the Project Development Manager are:

Lead the origination and development of new landfill gas to RNG projects, leveraging the Wagabox technology and in accordance with Waga Energy strategic plan.
Identify new prospects and develop relationships with municipalities and private landfill operators.
Coordinate the design of a technical solutions adapted to the project in cooperation with the engineering team.
Develop and present a clear value proposition creating mutual benefits for the landfill owner and Waga Energy.
Lead the negotiation of commercial agreements with customers and stakeholders for new and existing growth opportunities.
Act as an excellent ambassador for Waga Energy in the USA.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the RNG market dynamics in the USA and stay current on broader renewables developments.
Develop and maintain a strong interface with key stakeholders: customers, partners, and industry commercial groups.
Perform other duties appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as assigned from time to time by the company.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the renewable energy industry.
Experience in:
Economic and financial modelling in a commercial environment.
Market assessment, risk analysis and strategic planning.
Regulatory influences and responses in energy markets.
Complex contract negotiation, administration and management.
Relationship management skills.
Frequent domestic travels will be required
Relevant academic qualifications in either a business, engineering or scientific discipline.

Remote work accepted, near an airport hub and in a development region for the company
Travels in the USA, France and Canada
Travels to any location where Waga Energy projects are developed
