At Vizzia, the Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in improving the quality and maturity of our hardware developments.

Your mission: design, evolve, and document our mechanical systems to enable robust manufacturing with our industrial partners.

You will work at the heart of the product, in close collaboration with industrialization, electronics, and procurement teams, with a direct impact on current and future generations of our terminals.

📈 Responsibilities

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Designing mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using SolidWorks.

• Producing all 3D designs and technical drawings required for manufacturing.

• Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Precisely documenting assembly processes.

• Performing design validation tests.

• Evolving and improving existing system components.

• Eventually designing a new product from scratch.

• Working closely with the Industrialization Engineer, as well as with procurement teams and manufacturing partners.

• Professional proficiency in English.

👤 Your Profile

We are looking for an engineer capable of taking the lead on mechanical design in a highly constrained environment.

Key skills and experience:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, ideally in a constrained industrial environment.

• Strong mastery of CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks.

• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy.

• Solid understanding of mechanical constraints, especially IP and IK ratings.

• Ability to integrate electronic constraints from the early design phases.

• Professional proficiency in English (as the team is becoming more international).

Nice to have:

• First experience working on IoT-type products.

• Experience collaborating with industrial subcontractors.

Soft skills:

• Strong critical thinking and ability to challenge partners to achieve the best possible product.

• Enjoyment of working in multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electronics, industrialization).

• Rigor, attention to detail, and a strong product-oriented mindset.
