The opportunity

As Strategic Project Manager, you will help resolve the most difficult and important issues facing the business: setting company strategy, understanding and sharing the drivers our business, developing new opportunities, resolving trade-offs, and facilitating world-class collaboration and execution.
You will also oversee our international expansion planning and project management. With over 5 new country launches planned in the next two years, your role will be central to managing and coordinating the launches, owning the timeline and playbook to guarantee high quality execution.

🎯Your missions:

Expansion

  • Leading Virtuo’s geographical expansion.
  • Building and improving the playbook for new country and city launches.
  • Collaborating with the finance department in developing business plans for new country / city launches.

Strategic initiatives

  • Supporting the formulation of the long-term vision and strategic direction of the business.
  • Identifying and developing innovative initiatives across the business that impact both top and bottom line.
  • Owning the analysis and business case development for these initiatives.

Project management and change management

  • Coordinate important global projects, coordinating throughout the company within the country teams to make sure we deliver.
  • Developing ways to test new initiatives to limit risk and drive learnings.
  • Identifying the best mechanisms for global implementation once tests are validated. This will include owning change management processes.
  • Collaborate with global teams on the execution closely project managing the strategic initiatives.
  • Nurturing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including Country Operations, Product, Marketing, & Finance.

Preferred experience

🌟 This role is perfect for you if:

  • 3-4 years’ experience working closely with senior leadership in a fast-moving environment - for example, at a tech startup or in management consultancy
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, from structuring issues to designing workstreams, with strong quantitative analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Impactful communication skills, able to lead cross-functional teams without authority
  • Fluency in English required, French preferable.
