Freyssinet Australia is seeking a Construction Manager / Project Manager to lead the delivery of major remedial projects across NSW. This role sits within our NSW Major Projects division, where we focus on preserving and strengthening existing infrastructure, including façade upgrades, bridge repairs, and civil remediation on steel and concrete structures. With project values ranging from $10M – $50M, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the longevity and resilience of critical infrastructure.

We are looking for a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, proven project delivery skills, and the ability to manage teams, budgets, and stakeholders while driving safety and quality across complex projects.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of major remedial projects, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to specification.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee contract administration, cost control, forecasting, and reporting for multiple projects.
  • Develop and implement construction methodologies tailored to remedial works, balancing efficiency, safety, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide hands-on project management support where required, solving technical and logistical challenges.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and uncompromising safety.
     
    About You
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager in remedial, civil, or structural engineering projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of remedial construction techniques, including façade refurbishments, concrete repair, bridge strengthening, and steel remediation.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams, subcontractors, and multiple stakeholders on high-value projects.
  • Expertise in project delivery, including cost management, contracts administration, scheduling, and risk management.
  • A strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline (preferred).
