We are now looking for a dynamic and hands-on Smart Cities Business Associate/ Intern to help us build up our business activities with cities and mobility operators. In this role, you’ll dive into two key areas of a B2G tech company: sales development and bid writing. Your role will be key in promoting the Vianova data platform to help cities build a more efficient and sustainable transportation system.
Actively seek out new business opportunities as well as manage the sales pipeline: identify and directly contact new potential city leads, educate prospects, negotiate and close deals ;
Assist in the composition and management of bids, proposals, and RFPs ;
Develop key partnerships in the region with public authorities, public transport companies and shared mobility operators ;
Cultivate and follow up on business leads by engaging new and existing leads via phone, email, and chat to attract new customers ;
Help develop, implement, track, and update localized marketing and content strategy for several markets. Maintaining HubSpot database with leads and follow-up as well as tracking revenue associated with leads ;
Provide frequent reports of sales, new leads and overall financial performance ;
Schedule sales appointments with our Head of Market Developments ;
Consistently provides advanced, courteous and professional sales-focused assistance to customers ;
Work closely with our marketing team and our CS team to develop strategies to target prospects and schedule meetings.
We are looking for someone with:
Relevant bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent from a leading university. Relevant degrees can include (but not limited to) Business, Economics, Urban Planning/Development, Geography, Social Sciences or related fields
Native level of English
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, ideally with a portfolio of written work (reports, essays, dissertations/theses).
Excellent interpersonal, organization and verbal communication skills . Computer (analytics tools, etc.) and prioritization skills are pre-requisites
