The position

Job description

We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and hands-on Senior HR Manager that will unlock the company’s growth potential by shaping a strong culture, implementing scalable processes as well as appealing employer branding, and keep building an A-team. 🎯 Your missions :

Administrative and Legal:

  • Manage payroll and accompany employees in their personal life events (maternity or paternity leave, etc.)
  • Manage our external human resources partners (including payroll, retirement programs, and international employment) and ensure Vianova is compliant with all labor-related regulations

Performance, Retention and Culture:

  • Implement tools to measure engagement and well-being, and monitor their results
  • Be proactive on HR best practices: remote policy, perks, personal development plans, coaching opportunities, training programs etc.
  • Upgrade our performance review frameworks and methodologies in order to develop and retain talents
  • Ensure our values are understood, lived and shared by all team members
  • Improve team rituals (DSU, weekly, 360, etc.)
  • Organise team socials and outings when possible

Recruitment:

  • Support Talent Acquisition Manager(s) and potential recruitment firms involved in ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner and that candidates are a match to our very ambitious strategy
  • Improve our processes/tools/partnerships (schools, communities, hiring firm) to ensure applying for a job at Vianova is a smooth and sweet experience for all candidates
  • Improve our onboarding for newcomers and our offboarding processes
  • Design and deploy recruitment strategies to attract exceptional people: Vianova is growing fast and building out its senior staff
  • Strengthen relationships with third parties that multiply Vianova’s reach and access to a diverse and qualified talent pool

Preferred experience

About you:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or industrial/organizational psychology, relevant certifications, or equivalent work experience
  • +3 years of experience as an office manager or human resources manager or operations manager in a technology or startup environment
  • Strong organizational, planning, management and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A perfect English language, both written & spoken
  • Maker spirit and grit: we are looking for someone passionate, entrepreneurial and go-getter, with a strong work ethic as well as a genuine interest in the company’s mission

Recruitment process
