Valtech is seeking a MuleSoft Architect / Lead Developer (all genders) to join our team and work for a world-renowned luxury company. This role combines architecture design, project delivery, and ongoing support for our MuleSoft solutions. A day in the life of a MuleSoft Architect / Lead Developer (all genders)

You'll be joining the digital team of a major luxury brand with a global presence. Our team, based in France and India, manages e-commerce applications with worldwide reach.

As the senior MuleSoft expert, your responsibilities will encompass:

Architecture

• Design and evolve the MuleSoft platform architecture and associated components
• Advise client tech executives on architectural decisions and platform evolution
• Benchmark new tools, best practices, and technologies to align with the product roadmap

Delivery

• Lead the implementation of new features and improvements
• Ensure high-quality development practices and code standards
• Foster collaboration within the team and across other departments

Support

• Serve as the primary point of contact for MuleSoft technology
• Oversee maintenance and optimization of existing solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team

Team Development

• Enhance global expertise levels and track staff career development
• Oversee expert onboarding and create training plans
• Advise on team composition and resource allocation

You and the role

You are someone with +8 years of experience in MuleSoft, Java/JEE development. Front-end development also arouses your interest. You are a hands-on profile who can lead by example, coach, develop expertise of other profiles in the field, communicate to the team and the client.

We would love if you have  

• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Management solution and Java/JEE development
• Strong background in architecture design and solution delivery
• Experience with RESTful APIs and REST/SOAP protocols
• Experience with SpringBoot, TypeScript and Cloud technologies
• Proficiency in front-end knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in French and English is mandortory
• A collaborative mindset and ability to lead by example
