Job description

Position Title: Ecommerce Product Coordinator
Reports To: Ecommerce Manager

The Product Coordinator works closely with various teams including ecommerce, buying, production, and digital marketing to ensure all components of the online catalog are beautifully and accurately presented to consumers. This position works closely with the merchandiser and is involved with the planning and execution of collections, outfits, and website navigation on the 2 stores.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

  • Administrator for product data entry on the 2 stores (US & EU)
  • Responsible for writing accurate and engaging product descriptions for online site content
  • Review Product Page copy for formatting and grammatical errors.
  • Monitor release products leading up to and on the day of launch.
  • Perform website Quality Assurance regularly to ensure catalog is presentable and accurate.
  • Regularly audit Top Navigation to ensure collection pages are displaying products, and filters display categories and subcategories appropriately.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues pertaining to website products, photographs, and categorization.
  • Work alongside merchandisers to ensure subclasses are mapped.
  • Optimize keywords for on-site search, and manage keyword synonyms and redirects.
  • Applying SEO principles for the purpose of maximizing reach to our target audience
  • Ensuring that the company’s content is also consistent with the brand
  • Able to work in a faced-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks to deliver work on time
  • Ability to self-manage and show initiative

Preferred experience

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years prior experience in a similar role
  • Native English speaker
  • Experience working in Ecommerce/Copywriting with a fashion women’s clothing brand a must
  • Knowledge of proper clothing and industry terminology
  • Excellent verbal and written skills including spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Proven prioritization and collaboration skills across various teams.
  • Experience working with Shopify Plus & Excel
  • Detail and accuracy-focused, and willing to build a long-term relationship with the teams
  • Ability to adapt to ever-changing priorities and deadlines
