To support our growing activity, we are seeking a talented Sensors Characterization Engineer

Your mission:

· Conduct characterization and evaluation of external supplier sensors to ensure their quality, reliability, and performance meet our stringent standards

· Determine and develop sensor behavioral models to be used in internal studies and simulations

· Design and execute test plans, including procedures, test setups and acceptance criteria, to assess sensor functionality, accuracy, sensitivity, and response time

· Analyze and interpret test data, perform statistical analysis, and generate detailed reports with clear conclusions and recommendations for improvement or acceptance

· Identify and troubleshoot issues related to sensor performance, functionality, or compatibility

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of characterization methodologies, test procedures, and evaluation techniques to streamline the evaluation process and drive efficiency


Preferred experience

Your profile:

· Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related field

· Strong background in Digital Signal Processing, proven experience in sensor characterization, evaluation, and testing

· Strong understanding of sensor technologies, including but not limited to GNSS, inertial measurement unit, barometer, magnetometer

· Proficiency in designing and conducting experiments, statistical analysis, and data interpretation using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar software

· Excellent problem-solving skills with a systematic and analytical approach to troubleshooting.

· Effective communication and teamwork skills

· Fluent in English

· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Strong organizational skills and ability to meet short deadlines
