The position

Job description

We are looking for a talented Events Manager to lead our rapidly growing pipeline of events for our private clients, intermediaries and institutional segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain our events calendar and manage the annual budget
  • Lead creative ideation for events, creating insightful and memorable events that are distinctive and reflect our organisational values
  • Project manage our events from event planning, to execution to post-event management 
    • Invitations, internal and external announcements
    • Registration support and reporting
    • Event supplies and shipping
    • Production of event materials
    • Staffing and support
    • Measure ROI of events and report on success and next steps
  • Manage relationships with event organisation, business partners and certain sponsorships
  • Work closely with marketing team for audio visual production, content development and advertising
  • Coordinate stakeholders to deliver and communicate extraordinary event experiences

Preferred experience

  • At least five years prior experience in event management
  • Strong project management skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experiential marketing and creative skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve and think independently
  • Proactive, self-sufficient and resourceful
  • Familiar with successfully marketing events on social media
