Job description

As a Data Architect, you will support the design, documentation, and optimization of data structures and flows used across our enterprise systems. You will work closely with senior architects, engineers, and analysts to improve data performance, ensure consistency, and help build internal tools that make the data team's work more efficient.

This is an ideal opportunity for a data engineer or database developer looking to grow into an architectural role within a fast-moving and technically advanced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to the design, documentation and maintenance of data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for key applications and data platforms.

  • Support the optimization of SQL queries and data structures, especially in Oracle and PostgreSQL environments.

  • Contribute to performance analysis tasks such as index usage reviews, execution plan analysis, and partitioning strategies.

  • Help develop and maintain internal tools and scripts to automate checks (e.g., schema validation, lineage tracking, metadata extraction).

  • Participate in data integration projects and help ensure proper alignment of data flows and storage layers.

  • Collaborate with governance and business teams to ensure the consistency of data definitions and naming conventions.

  • Learn, establish and apply best practices in data architecture, security, and compliance within a regulated environment.

Preferred experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical data role (e.g., Data Engineer, BI Developer, DBA).

  • Strong SQL skills, with a solid understanding of relational databases.

  • Interest in Oracle/PostgreSQL Databases performance and data modeling concepts.

  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus.

  • Some experience with scripting (Python, Bash) and version control (Git) preferred.

  • Eager to learn, detail-oriented, and motivated to work on both technical and documentation tasks.

  • English required; French is a plus.
