Swan is looking for a Security Analyst to join its Security team. Our team at Swan includes both technical and governance talents to ensure the security of our infrastructure, data, partners and end-customers.
Swan has a diverse team of engineers from all over the place. Co-building is at the heart of the way we work. We believe in challenging each other. Being frank, but empathetic is the best way to get things done! It’s also more fun.
As a Security Analyst, you will report to our VP Security, and collaborate with different teams including our Infrastructure and Platform teams.
✨ Mission
As a Security Analyst at Swan, you’ll protect the organization’s computer systems from cyber threats and data breaches. You’ll monitor networks for security threats, analyze security risks, implement protective measures, and respond to security incidents. You could also assist in educating and raising awareness among staff about cybersecurity best practices.
✨ Main tasks:
Deploy and manage cutting-edge security tools to establish robust defenses against cyber threats, securing information systems, and maintaining their integrity.
Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity and security breaches.
Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and propose corrective measures.
Conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments to uncover and address security weaknesses, actively hardening the organization’s cyber defenses.
Collaborate with infra and engineering teams to enhance the security of applications and networks.
Perform and improve L1/L2 controls.
Meticulously manage access control processes, ensuring accuracy and security by strictly adhering to and enforcing policy guidelines.
✨ You’re a great match if:
Ability to write and understand Python scripts for automation of security tasks and analysis.
Knowledge of network protocols and ability to secure networks and infrastructure.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving security trends and methodologies.
Familiarity with common security concepts and controls (Authentication, cryptography, coding vulnerabilities, SIEM, etc.).
Expertise with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms for real-time analysis of security alerts generated by applications and network hardware, would be a plus.
Ability to communicate with clarity, humility, and precision. Proactive, curious, eager to bring solutions, and willing to roll up your sleeves.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes — don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying! 🙌
