Swan is looking for a Localization Project Manager Intern or Apprentice to join our Operations team.
Operations are a key pillar to Swan’s success. Our mission is to provide a flawless end-to-end customer experience, which includes providing that experience in the end-user’s preferred language.
✨ Your mission
Manage the content localization process for Operations and Product content, from receiving the content in English to delivering the content in the target language, ensuring consistency and hyper-localized content throughout.
✨ Main Tasks
Handle incoming requests from Operations and Product teams, primarily through Linear, Localazy, and Slack
Write briefs for freelance translation team, and communicate with the freelance team and our account manager to organize the translation process
Contribute to larger content localization projects as required, working together with key stakeholders to make the project a success
Maintain internal localization glossary with internal stakeholders, and keep Localazy glossaries up to date with any changes

You’ll join the Documentation team, housed in Operations. Our mission is to provide best-in-class content for all of our users. We also contribute to eLearning needs for teams within in Operations (Support, Know Your Customer [KYC], Technical Accounts Managers [TAM], and Customer Success Managers [CSM]).
You’ll report to our Lead Technical Writer, Coley, and work closely with our Technical Writer for Operations, Ntombi.

You’re a current or recently-graduated student from a masters program focused on translation or technical communication.
You’re passionate about language and clear communication. You have a high level of English and you are proficient in at least one additional language.
You’re determined to grow in your field, soak up knowledge, and constantly improve.
You’re a self-starter (your manager is remote) but you don’t hesitate to ask all the questions.
