You’re Swan’s Content Marketing Manager. Help Swan become known across Europe through excellent content. Maximize the number of organically-created leads by evangelizing our use cases and improving our organic search rankings.

How do you do this? By creating the best content to address our customers’ questions.

Swan is pioneering a new FinTech category: embedded finance. We know that our partners need us, but many of them haven’t realized this yet. You’ll have to educate them early in the journey and help them to understand the use cases of our Banking-as-a-Service platform.

The ideal person for this job will be extremely empathetic towards customers while equally deriving insights from data. You enjoy ownership over your own content pieces while benefiting from a flexible co-writing/bouncing board relationship with other writers at Swan.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve

  • Develop Swan’s content strategy to educate and evangelize our potential customers
  • Create and write content valued by our audience using all types of mediums: blog articles, SEO-focused articles, guides, customer stories, webinars, podcasts, and videos
  • Maintain and optimize our website content with external technical support
  • Operate data-informed by using tools such as Webflow, Ahrefs, Clearscope, Google Analytics, Google Search Console
  • Supervise technical SEO (linking, redirects, performance) with external support

Preferred experience

  • First and foremost, you’re a writer. You geek out over finding just the right words.
  • You have at least two years of practical experience in content production.
  • You have experience with SEO, know about the mechanics of keyword research and search intent analysis and are interested in expanding your SEO chops
  • You’re able to understand our technical product and decrypt it for our audience.
  • You enjoy working in a challenging fast-paced, target-driven, and team-oriented environment
  • Perfect English. You don’t have to be native-born, but should be able to trick us into believing it!
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent team player, and fun to work with.
  • Preferably, an understanding and curiosity into the FinTech Space (e.g. PSD2, SCT, FinOps, and Simon Taylor are not just a random series of alphabetic characters for you 🤓)
