Job description

Mission

As a Computer Vision Engineer you will be a core technical contributor on the ML / CV team with deep expertise in building and deploying cutting-edge 3D vision algorithms.

The ML/CV team works on a broad range of 3D computer vision challenges and seeks to innovate in activity recognition, gesture recognition, people detection, people tracking, object recognition, SLAM, and semantic understanding. You will work closely with our research and product teams to develop powerful computer vision and machine learning technologies for solving challenges that can impact millions of people.

If the combination of spatial data and cutting-edge applied CV/ML research appeals to you, then we would love to talk!

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and implement new algorithms to solve applied problems (depth, odometry, mapping, multicamera fusion) in various domains that use depth camera components on advanced NVIDIA CUDA based platforms.
  • You will research advanced techniques, including DNNs, for our next generation technology.
  • You will use advanced profiling tools (Nsight), to perform low level optimization of GPU/CPU code for integration in the ZED SDK. You will design and implement accuracy, performance tests and documentation for the CV/AI modules you develop according to our design guidelines.

Preferred experience

  • 3+ years of Machine Learning or Computer Vision experience.
  • MsC or PhD degree in the fields of computer vision or signal processing.
  • Skill in writing code in C++.
  • Experience in designing and training DNNs.
  • Good hands-on experience with OpenCV and Pytorch.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
