As AI and machine learning consulting manager, you will be responsible for:

• Being the strategic advisor our clients rely on for all their AI-related challenges and opportunities
• Brainstorming on AI and machine learning opportunities with our clients
• Helping clients to create a business case for their projects
• Managing and successfully delivering AI/ML projects, including guiding and helping the (internal+freelance) team members, giving feedback on deliverables, and being the single point of contact for the client
• In some cases, supporting our clients in writing subsidy applications for their innovation projects
• Helping the co-founders to build a larger team of data scientists and engineers
• Supporting the sales process by discussing with prospects and preparing proposals
• Leveraging your network to identify new projects

We have an office in Antwerp, but working from home or a coworking space is possible at least half-time. We are only considering candidates that currently live in Belgium, and don’t need to apply for a work permit or visum.

As AI and machine learning consulting manager, you possess the following competencies and skills :

• You are passionate about being part of a startup, and helping it grow
• You are known to be a reliable advisor, for example from experience working as a consultant for more than 3 years
• You have experience working as a data scientist or software engineer, or managing a team of data scientists and/or engineers
• You have a strong knowledge of the main machine learning techniques, and how they can bring value to a business
• You quickly grasp complex data science concepts and challenges
• You possess strong writing and communication skills in English and Dutch or French
