Sébastien is Senior Director within the Sonos Voice team. He owns the overall definition and execution of the experience we are building, and informs our future hardware strategy to keep making the Sonos experience more joyful and more premium.

He has 20 years of experience in engineering, user experience and product management, having worked at Apple as engineering manager, Fononauts as founder and VP of Applications, and Snips as Chief Product Officer until the acquisition by Sonos.

Odile joined Sonos Voice 4 years ago, and has been managing the language team for the last 2 years. Odile’s team works hand in hand with the other machine learning teams, providing the resources required to train and evaluate the machine learning models that are used for Automatic Speech Recognition, Natural Language Understanding and Text To Speech.

Odile has over 15 years experience as a computational linguist and manager, with a strong focus on Natural Language Processing and Speech Recognition technologies.

Francesco joined Sonos Voice 3 years ago and quickly became the manager of the Spoken Language Understanding team. He coordinates the R&D activity of the team and the release of the production-ready models.

Before joining Sonos he was a researcher in theoretical physics and machine learning in some of the most prestigious institutions in France, such as the Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique, the École Normale Superieure and Inria. He holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Rome “Sapienza”.

Emmanuel is the Solution Engineering Director of Sonos Voice. He joined the team 3 years ago to drive our cloud services, system validation and tooling teams. These teams play a central role in the quality of the experience delivered, the scalability of our solutions, and our fine integration with the underlying music services that power Sonos Voice.

He has worked for 18 years as a software engineering executive, delivering consumer facing digital products from concept ideation to mass-market deployment.

Alice joined Sonos Voice 4.5 years ago, and has been the head of machine learning research for the last two years. She leads the research & scientific activity in machine learning.

She has worked on a variety of topics in real-world & privacy-preserving automatic speech recognition: keyword spotting, natural language understanding, text generation, directedness classification, bias quantification in speech technologies, etc.

She holds a PhD in statistical physics from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris.
