About the role:
We’re looking for our first marketing communication manager who gets as excited about Investment and Software as we do.

As our Marketing and Communications Manager, you will create, implement, and lead external and internal communications programs that increase awareness key milestones as we grow for the Software Club brand to both B2B clients and prospective candidates. Core functions for your role include media relations, reputation management, communications, community and events, and social media strategy.

This wide-ranging role will provide you with an incredible foundation to grow and make significant impact, as you will be building our community, managing campaigns, measuring the performance, and analyzing the results to see if these initiatives ultimately contribute to growth at Software Club.

How you’ll spend your time:

  • Develop and execute a communications plan for the market that is aligned with Software Club business strategies, and content & campaign calendar.
  • Creating succinct and impactful project briefs and media materials, including press releases, pitches, talking points, data & research reports, and driving strategy around their launches.
  • Lead content development for our corporate communications program (e.gLinkedIN posts, press releases, speeches, presentations, Software Club website etc.)
  • Lead Social Media strategy
  • Manage internal communication ensuring proper information sharing across the organization; owning the internal marketing newsletter, members newsletter and other internal communications programs.
  • Build and lead community and events (virtual and offline) management, especially high profile community management
  • Collaborate with the People Team on internal comms and employer brand initiatives such as newsletter to our talent pool, or LinkedIN posts.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of key performance indicators, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Develop new channels such as partnerships and event sponsorships
  • Develop SWC visibility through partnerships with new networks

Preferred experience

We get excited about you if you have:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in corporate or marketing communications at a high-growth B2B software company (or agency), or Finance/Investment sector
  • Exceptional intellectual expertise on Marketing topics
  • Deep experience in community and events management, especially high profile community management
  • Strong leadership skills and self-motivated
  • Relevant interest and/or experience in Finance, Investment and Fintech
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, obsessed with attention to detail
  • Strong communicator and ability to adapt in a rapidly-evolving space
  • Ability to develop, manage, and scale marketing programs from end-to-end
  • Confidence and excitement to collaborate and interact with key internal stakeholders as well as external partners
