The position

Job description

RISQ/AME/ALM is responsible for the risk management framework for liquidity management and interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB). The framework both liquidity and IRRBB encompasses the development of the measuring, monitoring, and control of these activities. Measurement, monitoring, and control encompasses all risk identification activities, development of the limit framework, and reporting of risks to senior management and the risk committees.
• Assist in the review and analysis of liquidity processes, such as intraday liquidity, collateral management, contingency funding plans
• Monitor liquidity and IRRBB limits for compliance or breaches; manage the process of any limit breaches with senior liquidity managers
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly reports and ad hoc reports on a needs basis
• Assist in revisions to policies and procedures
• Assist in the writing of business requirements for any IT changes to limit design and calibration
• Assist as need for analysis conducted as part of the model validation of liquidity models and interest rate risk in the banking book models

Profile required

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance/Accounting/Statistics
• A previous experience in a bank or broker dealer would be appreciated

Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in USA is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
