Responsibilities

The E&S Expert is assigned to the Corporate Credit Analysis department. This department within Global Banking arm of Corporate Investment Banking of Komerční Banka works closely with business units. It prepares the credit analysis of clients. The E&S Expert is located in this department also to have a close contact with relationship managers of business units to provide them support, knowledge and opinions in the CSR area.

Responsibilities :

  • Assists in issuing a formal opinion based on the ESG impacts identified in the risk assessment and proposes measures to their reduction for a given client or transaction
  • Participates in ESG risk assessment based on a request from the business unit
  • Gives support to business units by identifying ESG risks, monitors the implementation of risk-reducing measures by the client
  • Takes part in checking of ESG risk controls
  • Is involved in monitoring the quality of the ESG risk management process
  • Provides support in preparation and organization of training for sales teams involved in ESG risk assessment
  • Motivates the actors involved in risk assessment process, maintains a high level of awareness of this issue
  • Actively participates in the communication with HQ in Paris
  • Leading market research, takes initiatives to bring new ideas
  • Coordination on best practicies with SG

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University in Economics with interest in ESG, CSR or Compliance with analytics background
  • At least one year of experience in an analytical position (internship, apprenticeship)

Language skills:
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of professional terminology in the field of analysis and accounting data)

Technical, operational & Soft skills:
  • Ability to formulate, promote and defend in a structured way its business position vis-à-vis other bank departments
  • Excellent communication skills you can use when dealing with partners inside the bank as our clients

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Prague is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
