Job description

We are looking for a versatile Product Marketing and Go To Market (GTM) Manager to help us elevate our product launches, support our positioning efforts, and ensure our sales teams are fully equipped to take our products to market successfully.

If you’re a self-starter with a passion for both strategy and execution, this role is for you.

About the Role:

This is a newly created role, and as such, the scope will evolve and be further defined as you bring your experience and insights to the company. We are looking for someone who can adapt and grow with the position, contributing to both the strategic and operational needs of our Go-to-Market efforts.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can come to our Paris office every week. However, if your profile is a good fit for the role, we are open to fully remote candidates who would visit the office less frequently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Own and coordinate the entire GTM process, ensuring alignment between product, sales, and marketing teams for seamless product launches.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with product, marketing, customer solutions, and sales teams to ensure everyone is aligned and prepared for successful product rollouts.

  • Sales Enablement: Create high-quality sales collateral, including product decks, one-pagers, and case studies, to ensure the sales team has everything they need to effectively sell our solutions.

  • Competitive Analysis: Stay on top of industry trends and competitor offerings, providing actionable insights to refine product positioning and strategy.

  • Product Positioning and Messaging Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to support the development of compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates SkillCorner in the market.

  • Partner Relationship Management: The role may include managing relationships with key partners, ensuring collaboration on initiatives that align with SkillCorner’s strategic goals.

Who You Are:

  • Strategic and Operational: You have experience developing GTM strategies but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves to create materials yourself.

  • Supportive Collaborator: You work well across teams and enjoy supporting marketing efforts in developing effective product messaging.

  • Storyteller: You know how to contribute to a compelling product narrative that captivates customers and sets a product apart from the competition.

  • Results-Oriented: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving product launches from strategy to execution.

  • Hands-On: You’re comfortable creating presentations, sales decks, and other marketing materials yourself, while also managing larger strategic initiatives.

  • Tech-Savvy with Sales Insight: Experience in sales, particularly with a tech product, is a valuable asset, giving you a unique perspective in crafting sales and marketing strategies.

Preferred experience

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years in product marketing, GTM management, or a similar role in a BtoB company selling a tech product.

    • Experience in packaging and delivering sales collateral for data products.

  • Skills: Proven track record of creating impactful sales and marketing materials (decks, one-pagers), strong project management skills for coordinating GTM efforts, and familiarity with competitive analysis.

  • Language: Proficiency in English is essential.

  • Tools: Proficiency in presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint).

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in a company that sold data or in the Sports industry.

  • An interest and knowledge of team sports - in particular analysis and coaching.

  • Experience in a sales role for a tech product is highly valued.

  • Additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, or German being a strong advantage.
