As the Fundraising & Partnerships Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and managing strategic partnerships and leading fundraising efforts to support the goals and objectives of SINGA Global. Your primary focus will be on cultivating partnerships with organizations, corporations, governments, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as driving fundraising initiatives to secure resources for our programs and initiatives. This position requires a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual with a strong network and a passion for refugee inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development and Management:
Identify, initiate, and cultivate partnerships with organizations, corporations, governments, and community stakeholders aligned with SINGA Global’s mission.
Develop and implement a partnership strategy to enhance programmatic impact, resource mobilization, and sustainability.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners through effective communication, collaboration, and regular engagement.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Fundraising Strategy and Execution:
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial resources for SINGA Global’s programs and initiatives.
Identify and pursue diverse fundraising opportunities, including grants, individual giving, corporate sponsorships, and fundraising events.
Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and funding agencies to maximize financial support.
Collaborate with the communications team to develop compelling fundraising materials and campaigns.
Responding to Calls for Projects (CfP) and Monitoring Emerging (CfP):
Draft compelling and persuasive responses to calls for projects and funding opportunities, highlighting SINGA Global’s mission, programs, and impact.
Research and monitor the emergence of relevant calls for projects, grants, and funding opportunities in the refugee inclusion sector.
Stay updated on trends, funding priorities, and requirements in the philanthropic and international development sectors.
Collaborate with the communications team to ensure that responses to calls for projects align with SINGA Global’s messaging and branding.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and data for project proposals and grant applications.
Track the progress and outcomes of submitted proposals and funding applications.
Regularly communicate updates on calls for projects and funding opportunities to relevant internal stakeholders.
Maintain a database of calls for projects, grants, and funding opportunities, along with associated deadlines and requirements.
Provide recommendations and insights on potential funding prospects and strategic partnerships based on the analysis of emerging opportunities.
Resource Mobilization:
Engage partners and donors in financial contributions, in-kind support, and resource sharing to support the organization’s programs and initiatives.
Collaborate with the partnerships team to leverage partnerships for fundraising purposes and explore joint fundraising initiatives.
Explore innovative funding models and develop strategic alliances to secure sustainable financial resources for the organization.
Collaboration and Networking:
Represent SINGA Global in relevant meetings with partners or potential partners to establish and strengthen partnerships and fundraising opportunities.
Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between SINGA Global and partner organizations to maximize collective impact.
Engage in networking activities to expand SINGA Global’s reach and influence within the refugee inclusion sector.
Reporting and Documentation:
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of partnership activities and fundraising results, including progress reports, impact assessments, and financial contributions.
Maintain a comprehensive database of partners, donors, contacts, and relevant information for future reference and organizational knowledge management.
Degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, International Relations… ).
Proven experience in partnership development and fundraising, preferably in the nonprofit or international development sector.
Strong understanding of refugee inclusion, community building, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Demonstrated success in fundraising and resource mobilization, including grant writing and donor relationship management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Bilingual in French and English.
