We are searching for someone with strong experience in direct-to-consumer e-commerce looking for a new challenge. As E-Commerce Director you'll own, develop, and deliver all aspects of e-commerce sales and trading to grow our direct-to-consumer business even faster over the next few years.

An effective and efficient sales and marketing plan will be key to executing this strategy, as will ensuring we have a well merchandised website and sufficient stock to hit our growth ambitions.

Key Duties

  • Work with the central team to establish the performance marketing strategy for customer acquisition and retention for the direct-to-consumer channel in LATAM. Setting the strategic direction to deliver our sales growth objectives via paid search, SEO/SEM and affiliate marketing channels in LATAM.
  • Maintain a strong focus on continual improvement in customer visits growth, customer retention ROAS and ROI - by fostering a culture of on-going optimization of CPCs, conversion and channel mix across categories and markets; and by championing improved attribution, reporting and insight capabilities across all performance channels.
  • Facilitate relationships and support your team in building strong collaboration with key cross-functional business partners (particularly Marketing, Retail, Operations & Finance), to ensure there is good understanding and alignment with E-Commerce strategy, KPIs and results.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance in overseeing budget setting, periodic reporting and reforecasting and refinement of budgets in line with the Financial Calendar for the business.
  • Oversee key agency and business partner relationships (e.g., paid search agency, Google etc.) – ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met and maximizing the value Shark Ninja derives from these partnerships.
  • Monitor the marketplace and competitor digital marketing activity – benchmarking Shark Ninjas’ performance and keeping the wider business informed of key industry or competitor initiatives and developments.
  • Lead and develop the LATAM E-Commerce team - including organizational development, the management of annual and mid-year review process, talent review, Learning & Development plans, and succession planning.
  • Contribute to the development of the broader Marketing strategy, team development initiatives, and fosters company values as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Have Deep expertise, knowledge and understanding of the full suite of Performance Marketing channels and ecommerce best practices, ideally gained from a high-growth, multi-channel retail business
  • Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization across technical, on-site, and off-site activities.
  • Experience of driving online sales growth through performance marketing channels for a LATAM based ecommerce business.
  • Strong people management skills and experience of leading high-performing multi-disciplinary teams of 5+ FTE with specialisms across PPC, CRM, Affiliates, Social, Merchandising and Conversion
  • Proven record of managing a multi-million dollar performance marketing budget to deliver stretching online traffic, conversion, sales and ROAS targets.
  • Commercially focused and results driven.
  • Strong strategic and influencing skills - able to manage multiple stakeholders across trading and operations, buying and merchandising, marketing, and finance within a multi-channel business.
  • Proven experience in managing complex cross-functional projects to deliver high impact step-changes in online marketing operating processes.

  • Travel to the US 25%
  • Bilingual; English/Spanish (nice to have Portuguese)
