Since launching Shadow PC in France in 2015, we have been building on its success. Our ambitions are sky-high to revolutionize the way technology is used; last year we launched our cloud storage solution Shadow Drive, and Shadow for Enterprise, which offers flexible high-performance power for businesses. We are actively looking for a Data Scientist to join our BI team!

The BI team:

The BI team is responsible for providing management and departments with adequate analyses, insights and predictions to make smart decisions. 

Your Role:

In order to support the company's growth objectives and continuous improvement of user experience, as Data Scientist, you are in charge of developing and maintaining algorithms to predict behaviors, events and make recommendations to departments.

Your Goals:

- You propose, design and develop advanced models and algorithms to drive smarter business decisions and automate tasks. You understand the pain at stake and design a solution out of it;

- You analyze large amounts of information with departments to discover trends, patterns and provide actionable insights;

- You maintain and improve your models to reach the best performance;

- You design and deploy a new architecture for ML / AI pipelines on our modern data stack in collaboration with data engineers, in order to scale the data science practice;

- You share your knowledge and best practices to spread the data culture in the company, with a customer-centric approach.

Your Profile:

- You have a previous experience in data science and machine learning;

- You have a very good knowledge of programming languages used in data analysis and data science (Python and standard packages used in ML like pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn);

- Probabilities and statistics have no secret for you;

- You are able to run a project from A to Z: data preprocessing, model selection and running, fine-tuning of parameters, supervision of deployment with data engineers;

- You have an advanced level in SQL;

- You are very analytical, pay attention to details and data consistency across sources;

- You are not only a technical/analytical person, you also have strong business sense and have great interpersonal skills;

- Autonomous and proactive, you are eager to learn and eager to share your knowledge and best practices with the rest of the company;

- You are fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
