Your Missions:

• Create and develop a data roadmap by partnering with various stakeholders, including Seyna Insurance teams (finance, actuaries, data integration) and the Product Team to gather insights from brokers, ensuring their requirements are addressed.

• Make informed architecture decisions in collaboration with the CTO, aligning them with platform requirements.

• Prioritize simple and efficient solutions while ensuring seamless execution of the data roadmap with high-quality standards, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of Seyna’s platform architecture, covering software, infrastructure, devops, and data.

• Develop a clear vision for the data platform, becoming the go-to resource for all data-related matters.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in data engineering and share expertise with stakeholders as needed.

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, delivering successful data roadmaps and solutions.

• You combine technical prowess with a deep understanding of Seyna’s business objectives, ensuring data solutions align with the company’s vision.

• You can transform business requirements into concrete and actionable data needs, driving decision-making processes.

• You articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and foster a collaborative environment.

• Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely data solutions that meet business needs.

• You build and advocate for a robust data management philosophy at Seyna.

• You provide technical leadership to the data integration team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Strong coding skills in SQL and Python, with proficiency or ability to learn JavaScript/TypeScript to expand your toolkit.

• Master AWS Glue, Athena, Step Functions, and demonstrate proficiency in IaC/CDK.
