The position

Job description

Join a dynamic marketing team where collaboration, team spirit, and diverse expertise drive success. As our Event Manager, you will own the end-to-end planning, execution, and analysis of physical and virtual events that build brand awareness and generate qualified pipeline in France and international markets.

Your missions :

Trade Shows & External Events

  • Research and select strategic industry events aligned with Sekoia.io’s growth objectives

  • Manage budgets, negotiate with organizers, and secure prime booth placement and sponsorships

  • Oversee all logistics: platform management, booth design, collateral production, and branded merchandise

  • Develop and execute multi-phase communication plans (pre-event, live, post-event) to maximize visibility

  • Coordinate with Sales to schedule meetings, drive lead capture, and provide on-site support

Proprietary Events & Webinars

  • Conceptualize and bring to life customer-centric and partner events that foster engagement and revenue

  • Plan and host monthly webinars in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Technical teams

  • Source, brief, and manage speakers to ensure compelling, on-brand content delivery

  • Handle venue selection, catering, technology, and all logistics for in-person gatherings

  • Execute targeted audience acquisition campaigns and create end-to-end marketing assets (invitations, landing pages, follow-ups)

Performance Management & Analysis

  • Ensure flawless event execution, anticipating risks and managing contingencies

  • Lead pre- and post-event briefings to align teams and capture insights for continuous improvement

  • Streamline lead handoff to Sales and SDR teams, tracking pipeline impact and revenue attribution

  • Monitor and report on KPIs—attendance, engagement, pipeline, ROI—and recommend optimizations

📍 The position can be based in Paris, Rennes or fully remote. Professional trips paid for by the company might be required.


Preferred experience

🤩 We are excited to meet you if you have :

  • 4+ years of B2B event management experience, ideally in Tech/SaaS or cybersecurity

  • A proven track record of generating leads and measuring event ROI

  • Startup or scale-up background—comfortable in fast-paced, resource-conscious environments

  • Native French communication skills and fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Technical skills :

  • CMS (WordPress, Webflow)

  • CRM & Marketing Automation (HubSpot, Marketo)

  • Design & Video (Canva, Photoshop, PlayPlay)

  • Project Management & Productivity (Notion, Google Workspace)

Soft skills :

  • Exceptional organizational skills and budget management

  • Strong negotiator and vendor relationship builder

  • Strategic thinker who aligns events with business goals

  • Excellent communicator with cross-functional and external stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure

  • Confident public speaker and event host
