The position
Job description
- Ensure application of configuration and change standard procedures, instructions, and templates.
- Apply the rules defined in the Configuration and Change Management Plan (CMP).
- Manage access rights to configuration and change databases.
- Support software team members to configuration and change management tools usage.
- Create and publish configuration baselines.
- Attach items (hardware parts, software components, documents) delivered by Team Members to Project/Program configurations in accordance with the Release Note.
- Receive installation data (Serial Number, software versions, Location…) and build as-installed configurations in the configuration and change management tools.
- Prepare and send database extracts required for the release notes to Signaling PrCCM.
- Prepare and send database extracts required for the Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
- Suggests improvements of the activity (REX on Configuration and Change Management issues: process, organization).
- Provide Configuration and Change Management reporting and indicators.
Preferred experience
- B.S degree or similar in relevant field.
- 1-year Relevant Experience Required.
- Ideally experience in Configuration and Change Management.
- Experience from working with global teams is a plus.
- Knowledge of RTC, RQM, DOORS, Git lab, Gerrit.
- Engineering environment awareness.
- Excellent communications skills are required, as the job involves technical discussions and communications with team members of various disciplines across our global workforce.
- The capacity to thrive in an environment that includes several teams with diverse backgrounds and language skills is necessary.
