Context :

Within the Industrial Automation business unit, our Strategy team plays a key role in accelerating our growth and transforming our industries.

You will join the Strategy team attached to the Industrial Controls & Drives (IC&D) Line of Business, which is responsible for developing industrial control and variable speed drive offers-key solutions that shape the future of industrial automation and support the decarbonization journey of our customers.

Your missions :

Reporting to the Senior Strategy Manager, you will contribute to the following activities:

  • Support market and competitive intelligence by analyzing key trends, technological innovations, and the movements of players in the IC&D market;
  • Prepare concise analyses and occasionally conduct in-depth studies on selected competitors;
  • Contribute to the annual IC&D market study campaigns in collaboration with Global and Country Offer Management teams;
  • Update and enrich internal intelligence tools, contribute to the competitive newsletter, and share insights through webinars with internal teams;
  • Support strategic projects and studies (positioning, segmentation, market sizing, attractiveness assessments) to guide the development of new offers.

Location: Schneider Electric headquarters in Rueil-Malmaison (Le Hive)
Duration: 4-6 months (Gap year or End-of-studies internship)
Desired start date: March 1st / April 1st, 2026

Your profile :
  • Master’s degree student (BAC+5) from a top engineering or business school
  • Strong command of English (international environment)
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; ideally experience with data analytics tools (Power BI)
Required Skills :
  • Ability to research, filter, and synthesize complex information
  • Experience in analyzing market, financial, or technological data
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various teams (strategy, marketing, R&D, sales)
  • Willingness to learn in a multicultural environment and demonstrate proactiveness
