Join Schneider Electric Design team!

What will be your role ?

We are fast growing and we want to do so healthily. Our Mission is to oversee internationally all digital design within Schneider Electric, to infuse the design culture in the company, and to deploy the design system. We create consistent, enjoyable, and memorable experiences for our users.

We are looking for a Design Ops professional to join our Digital Design team. You will report to the Design Ops Manager to optimize design processes, manage tools, and ensure efficient collaboration across teams. Your role will focus on driving the impact of design through clear processes, measurable outcomes, and a culture of collaboration. You will lead and support the coordination of strategic design programs, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other teams to elevate the value and impact of design within our organization. You will also contribute to structuring and embedding AI-enabled practices within design operations, ensuring they are actionable, scalable, and aligned with team and company priorities.

You will be responsible for :

  • Legitimizing the impact of Design
    • Promote and advocate for a design-driven culture within the company, acting as an ambassador for design internally and externally.
    • Define, track, and leverage key metrics to demonstrate the impact and value of design across teams.
    • Integrate AI-assisted tools, automation, and workflows into design practices across research, ideation, and delivery.
    • Produce data-driven case studies and insights to evidence the quality, alignment, and outcomes of Design and Ops initiatives.
  • Facilitating collaboration
    • Enable effective collaboration between designers, product teams, business stakeholders, and developers to support alignment and execution.
    • Identify, prioritize, and address operational needs related to processes, tools, collaboration, and design culture.
    • Design and lead workshops, rituals, and taskforces to support learning, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement.
    • Lead AI-related initiatives within the design organization by creating the conditions for experimentation, alignment, and adoption of shared practices.
  • Supporting design process optimization
    • Continuously improve design workflows and operational processes to support high-quality, insight-informed, and AI-augmented design at scale.
    • Coordinate and support strategic design initiatives contributing to overall design excellence.
    • Partner across functions to streamline processes and ensure measurable outcomes.
    • Identify, test, and operationalize AI-assisted tools, automation, or copilots that enhance design efficiency and quality, in line with company governance and security requirements.
This job has been tailored for you if you :

  • You have 7+ years of experience in design and/or design-related roles, with a strong and proven background in Design Ops, including end-to-end ownership of Ops roadmaps, processes, tooling, and cross-team initiatives.
  • You hold a Master’s degree in Design, Business, or a related field.
  • You have a strong product mindset and a deep, hands-on understanding of end-to-end design processes in a product environment.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and are able to manage multiple initiatives autonomously, from framing and prioritization to execution and follow-up.
  • You are proactive, result-oriented, and driven to improve workflows and team performance.
  • You have strong synthesis skills and can translate complex topics (processes, metrics, tools, AI practices) into clear, actionable insights.
  • You are comfortable working with OKRs or similar performance frameworks to structure, track, and communicate progress and impact.
  • You can build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • You have hands-on experience exploring, testing, and operationalizing AI-enabled practices or automation in a design, product, or digital context, beyond simple experimentation.
  • You are fluent in English and French and can communicate effectively in an international environment.
Even better if :
  • You have experience working in large, international organizations and navigating complex, matrix environments.
  • You are familiar with driving organizational change and process adoption strategies.
  • You are comfortable working with a range of design, product, and collaboration tools (e.g. Figma, Jira, documentation) and supporting teams in their day-to-day usage.
