About the job

Your team

You will be part of Datacenter/Colocation Team. The team scope covers Scaleway’s worldwide development and therefore hosting contracts’ management for foreign and french datacenters, and all projects around hardware : deployments, migrations and other specific projects.

Day To Day Activities

You will be in charge of leading new datacenter deployments and other specific projects under the Datacenter/Colocation manager control. Your goal is to bring these projects to completion ensuring profitability and optimized time-to-revenue.

Minimum qualifications

  • Project management experience
  • Experience in a company or department providing technology services around hosting and/or cloud.
  • Skills or at least interest in hardware and datacenters and you are keen to know and learn more about it
  • Fluent in English

    • Responsibilities

  • Take in charge deployment projects such as new rack installation, DC migrations, or any other brought by business needs and Executives demands,
  • Define and manage project’s’ planning and deliverables to ensure success for Scaleway,
  • Manage projects and steps of each regarding business criterias and operational capacities,
  • Lead each part of the project and teams involved thanks to internal tools (Slack, Jira, Confluence…) ensuring the schedule is respected or adapted if needed,
  • Make sure to help as much as you can these teams to achieve their goal and schedule,
  • Work closely with them and your suppliers to optimize productivity,
  • Have a clear vision of the risks which may occur on each step of the project to lead proactively corrective actions needed,
  • Report on each project to your management and other teams involved, conduct meetings

    • On average our process lasts 2-3 weeks and offers usually follow within 48 hours 🤞
